"This is just great." though Noah as he's sitting in detention. "Stupid bell rang early, but do they listen to me?? NO!!!" His only thought other than the bitterness he felt was that Aurelio was going to think that he just blew off their meeting. He hadn't seen Aurelio all day, and he was kinda worried. With their last meeting still echoing in his brain, he was hoping today would pass without incident.

But that was not the case.

"Stuck in detention while Aurelio is waiting for me. Just great."

"Man, I hope this works." Wondering how good his plan was, Noah decides to try the hi-tech approach to his detention woes.

Taking out his pager he just bought with new "Find Anyone" software, he searched through his network, hoping Aurelio had decided to get with the times. Finding his name in the list of so many tech junkies could be a problem, but the way the detentioness of terror was nodding, time should not be a worry.

"I hope he has it with him."

With his fingers a blaze of speed, Noah texts his problem to Aurelio in hopes that they wouldn't start the meeting without him.

"Got detention. Don't start w/o me. B there soon. I hope."

Noah waited.......and waited........and waited. "I don't have time for this crap. Why hasn't he re-texted me yet?" And then it hit him. "He never gave me his number. And I bet if he has a cell phone, its on vibrate. Maybe he didn't notice it."

Once again his fingers went to work.

"Aurelio, plz tell them not to start w/o me. On my way, one way or another."

"I hope he gets this in time."

"I'm out of here. I don't have time for this mess." Ducking the rest of the people "fortunate" enough to end up in detention, Noah scooted out of the door, undetected by the snoozing mammoth who was the detention keeper. Running down the hallways, searching every door for the room where the meeting was, Noah felt like a blind man stumbling through a hospital, not wanting to disturb anything, but desperately searching for something he knows.

WHAM!!!!!!

The very loud noise of bodies colliding.

"Hey man, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have been running like that. See I'm late for a meeting, and my friend....."

His words caught in his mouth, Noah saw who he smashed into.

"Aurelio!!!!!!"

"Aurelio, dude I thought i would never find you." Noah picked him up and dusted him off. "Has the meeting started yet?" Noah wanted to get this whole science club thing over so Aurelio and he could get some things discussed. Maybe he could tell Noah what these weird occurences were. Whats the deal with the new way of "looking at things?" Why has he been feeling so weird lately? Why this new sense of urgency to meet with Aurelio, and the rest of their group?

Noah thought if anyone knew, he would.

"The meeting is probably over already." Noah was feeling kinda about jetting out of detention, but he would pay for it later. There are more pressing matters right now to worry about.

Noah thought to himself, "I don't know what to say or think around you. Whats my problem?"

There was something different about Aurelio that Noah couldn't quite put his finger on. It made him nervous and excited at the same time.

"If the science club meeting is finished, what am I going to say to Aurelio when he gets to my house? I hope he can answer my questions. If not, I'm sunk."

"There's no reason for a storm. Where did these clouds come from?" But yet again, Noah was still getting used to his second sight. These clouds were forming over Aurelio.

Clouds mean alot more than you think.

"Hmm..... I wonder....."

"Aurelio, can I ask you something? Ifeel something strange and its not the fact that I didn't eat lunch. What is happening here?"

Aurelio didn't really have any answers. Neither of them knew what was going on. But between this new "Second Sight" stuff, and these weird dreams he was having, Noah needed some answers.

"Is it ok if i come over? I really need to talk to you." Noah hit SEND on his cell phone, and patiently waited for Aurelio's reply.

"I hope it works this time." He thought if he didn't get any explanations soon, his head would explode.

"Ok. So its time to go see Aurelio."

Noah hurries out of his door, seeing as how he went home early that day. His last period Greek teacher had canceled on him, so he was home about 4 hours early.

Upon knocking on the door, Noah was greeted by the warm, smiling, face of Aurelio's mother. "I remember you from before. Noah, right?"

"Yes ma'am." Noah was very nervous as to the fact that he had never seen Aurelio's room. "What is this kid into? Not saying he's weird, but there's something about his eyes. It's not scary, but somewhat unsettling."

"His room is upstairs, first door on the left."

"Thank you."

Noah carefully approached the stairs, some sense of apprehension around him. As he was rounding the corner, he noticed something. His new second sight just decided to update him on Aurelio's condition. An overwhelming malaise, a cloud of boredom, almost indifference smacked him in the face, eminating from Aurelio's door.

"What's his problem?" Noah was puzzled, but continues to the door. Before he even gets to knock, he hears, "Come in Noah. I've been waiting for you."

Maybe some useful information finally.

"Before you even say anything" Noah starts, "What is wrong with you? How can life be this boring? I have second sight now. Guess what? I know how you feel at all times. Tell me what is up, before I go and do something wrong."

"Ok, maybe you know something I don't. I haven't been able to stop dreaming, or seeing visions, or whatever this is. I see people's emotions. I go to sleep, I see words, and people in hoods. Stuff I have never seen before. Maybe I'm going crazy. Do you have any ideas what this is? Have you seen anything strange?"

Noah was desperate. He thought he was losing his mind. Maybe if he could finally TALK to Aurelio there would be some sort of closure. He just felt as if all these new visions, especially his second sight, the dreams, somehow it was all related to Aurelio, some mission, or quest that has to be done. He didn't care what it was, but he needed to know that he wasn't completely losing it.

"Tomorrow???" "Oh man, I don't know how much more of this I can take" Noah thought to himself. But he didn't want to push Aurelio too far. He noticed his aura was fading, almost like he was tired. Or taxed. Something was draining Aurelio. Noah thought, "Oh well. I guess I'll have find out later."

Looking at Aurelio, Noah says, "OK, thats cool. But what time and where are we meeting. I need some answers man."

The earlier the better. Noah doubted he was sleeping tonight.

"Dude, there's no way I can stay tonight. I have 3 tests tomorrow. I haven't even started studying yet. Crap. How about tomorrow?"

Noah thinks to himself, "Nothing will stop me from coming over tomorrow. It's time for answers."

"You have to be KIDDING me!!!!" Noah was livid. Not only did he not have to study all night last night because 2 of the tests were canceled, but the last test he actually had to take became an open book, open note the morning of.

Noah thought to himself, "I do not believe this crap. I'm dying from lack of sleep here. How could this be any worse?"

He was about to find out. As lunch mercifully came around, Noah found Aurelio amongst the crowd of cattle grazing on their cud that afternoon. "Hey Aurelio." No response. "HEY Aurelio." Again no response.

"HEY AURELIO!!!!!!!!!" Finally, Aurelio turned, and looked through Noah, as if he was some spectre from the old Charles' Dickens Christmas Carol.

Noah says to himself, "Who peed in his corn flakes? Something is up."

Before Noah could say anything as he was walking up behind Aurelio........

"STOP!!! DO NOT BOTHER MY ORACLE!"

"My.........Oracle?"

Noah's puzzlement continued.........

until the bell for lunch woke him from his post test nap.

As Noah was trudging through the hallway, he catches a glimpse of Aurelio going into a class and a teacher beckoning him in as the door was closing.

On his way out to the college for the study time, Noah sends a message:

"Going to the college. What time should I meet u?"

AURELIO

MESSAGE SENT

After a few hours of uneventful study, Noah checked his cell phone. Somehow, in the events of being in a library at the local college, it was turned OFF!!

"Oh crap," Noah thought to himself. "What if he messaged me?"

1 New Message
"7 should be fine. Grab some food before you come over."

"It's only 3," Noah thought to himself. He had an idea. He would head home and work on that new RPG he was playing. That should kill some time.

As 7 rolled around, Noah was just arriving at Aurelio's house. As he was walking up to the door, Aurelio steps out and says, "Right on time. Please follow me."

Noah thinks, "Ok. Time for some answers.......I hope."
