My name is omoi (nice to make your acquaintance). The purpose of this thread is to give a little information about myself so that you can know me a little better. I know how awkward it can be for a person to write a decent intro of themselves, so I will use this thread to give you an example.

Here goes:

My name is omoimasuyo (for my real name, get to know me a little bit ... seriously, it will come out eventually). I use omoi for short. I got that nickname from the people at this site

A quick sum up could be found on my webpage, but I am going to type it all out here because you guys are special .

I'm 24. I recently graduated college with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and I still feel like I have too many things I have to learn!!

I am a total geek. I am always trying to learn something new and now all of my mind it seems is turned to programming. Batch files, php, html/css, vb, c#, java, whatever I can touch. I have questions about it all (except the html stuff - i got that one down pretty much).

I have heard (and seen) a lot of php and I want to learn more, but I don't know what I would need to install or use. The same for Perl (which I am picking up).

Other than being a tech junkie, I love foreign languages. So far I am fluent in spanish, conversational in french and japanese and learning latin, malay, and chinese in my free time. I am also trying to get some good reading in.

The most important thing about me is that I am a Christian. Without that, I wouldn't be. Feel free to ask me questions about that if you want.

I am also into digital art. You can check me out at deviantArt. I'm only starting and there is a lot I don't know, but my imagination is endless.

I think that is enough about me for now .

so, yeah.. i am a little bit confused... ok... a LOT confused, 'cause i am forum-illiterate.

I don't have a clue as to what i am doing, and i am supposed to be introducing myself, but i don't even know how to do that....

and i don't know what to ask, either.. so, can you help me???

Sure thing.

Just include a bit of information about yourself like I have about myself.

What hobbies do you have?

Where are you from?

Do you have kids? If so, how many?

Are you married?

Where do you like to go when you aren't home?

Where do you go on the net?

What do you like to watch (movies, tv, etc)?

What kind of music do you like?

Hopefully, that will get you thinking in the right direction. It doesn't have to be terribly long, just a blurb about yourself.
