Hey everyone. I thought it would be good to make a small announcement about this forum and why it exists. I know that, personally, I hate going to forums and not knowing why I'm there. To that end, let me help.
We are here because of a few things:
1. We exist for the DWTK role-playing game. I created this game almost three years ago now and I have that as a part of this forum for those who like writing stories and would like to contribute to mine. In order to see how this works, you can go and check out the threads here.
2. We exist to help people learn languages in small groups. This is part of the fruit of being a foreign language fan. It's made for whomever would like to use the feature. As of the time of this post, it is also being used to help tutor Emmanuel College students that are taking some foreign language classes and would like a little bit of help.
3. We exist to write. About anything at anytime. I have anime and video game reviews right now, but it could be poetry or whatever else the community produces. I'm willing to back you up, writers!
So there you have it. Now, if anyone wants to know why we are here, you can sit them down and read them this post, or email it, or link to it. It's up to you! Here's to being a strong community with a purpose! |
