Ah yes, the moment of moments. You are thinking of pushing the "new topic" button and making that monumental step toward your first piece of art, aren't you? Well, before you do that, I want to tell you a few things:

YO, PICASSO!!!

1. Please post at least two (2) art pieces when you post here. It saves time and server space. "The more, the merrier", I think. If you post less, you will get a warning - a big nasty publicly readable one.

2. If you are thinking about posting someone else's work as your own, DON'T. That will earn you the ban to end all bans. That is an offense against international law and as you could imagine, it's against my law, too.

3. No joke posts. This is a more serious art area. If you most post silly art, please post in the spam area. Thanks.

1. Please post more than a sentence like "That's awesome!". Artists like to hear those things, but also post why you think it's awesome. "I love the color scheme and the green in the image works well with the light blue background" is better than "That looks nice". Also, "I think a different font should have been used" is a bit more helpful as criticism than "That suxxorz!"

2. Be kind. If you have to critique negatively, be kind and constructive. I will remove mean posts. Period.

3. Don't turn the comment into a conversation. PMs and IMs are great for those. So is the spam area.
